Technological innovations for hydrometallurgy
ANCOR TECMIN is constantly developing technological innovations focused on the production improvement and safety of electrolytic tankhouse. Many of these products and processes are patented in Chile and in the world.
ANCOR TECMIN‘s engineering department is made up of a team of highly trained professionals with vast accumulated experience in the design of our own products such as: Cells, Capping Boards, Aeration Systems, etc. To this end, it uses the latest generation tools in three-dimensional design of the products and finite element technique to carry out sophisticated structural analyses such as: analysis of energy balances, mechanical impacts on cells, thermal shocks due to transient states of fast filling of cells, etc.
In recent years, ANCOR TECMIN has developed multidisciplinary projects for mining from the design stage to the construction stage complying with the highest standards of the industry, these projects have been developed in Chile and abroad, such as the following:

In addition, the ANCOR TECMIN Engineering Department has expertise in design and construction in other areas, such as:
- FRP tanks for SX plants
- Piping for SX and EW plants
- Metal structure in SX and EW plants
- Civil Works in SX and EW plants
- Instrumentation and Control in SX and EW plants
Finally, it is noteworthy that this department was responsible – in 2008 – for the analysis, design, manufacture and logistics of the cells for 320K Project of Votorantim Metais, today corresponding to the group Nexa Resources in Peru, standing out in the industry for its robustness and efficiency.
Technological innovations of ANCOR TECMIN are protected by a series of patents, both in Chile and the world.
